KeyShield SSO server is smart Java application designed for Linux or Windows server. You can run it on any of Your existing servers. Virtualization is recommended.

Workstation
KeyShield SSO can work if the workstation is connected to company/organization network directly or via vpn connection. If the organization is using public IP addresses (typical for universities, labs etc), than KeyShield SSO can work with clients outside the network perimeter as well.
Cooperation with Novell client – eDirectory and Microsoft client – Active Directory is available for Windows workstations only. LDAP authentication via KeyShield SSO client is available for any supported platform.

Notebook
KeyShield SSO client is perfect for notebooks – it’s providing SSO service when connected to internal network or via vpn. With no connection to the KeyShield SSO server, KeyShield SSO client does nothing. Just displays Red Icon which is signaling „no connection to the server“. Novell and Microsoft clients as well as LDAP authentication are supported like in case of Workstation see above.

Mobile devices
KeyShield SSO client is available for iOS and Android. LDAP authentication is supported on both platforms. Authentication is not possible behind NAT. Mobile device must use company WiFi or KeyShield SSO server must have public network interface (listen on public address). Both iPhone and iPad are supported.
